The PottersField Express

A quiet town. A dark betrayal. A reckoning decades in the making.

The Pottersfield Express is a visceral, unflinching portrait of a small Midwestern town pulsing beneath the surface with secrets, sins, and scars that refuse to heal. When Jacob Parker uncovers his wife’s devastating betrayal, it sets into motion a psychological unraveling that reveals much more than personal heartbreak—it awakens the ghosts of a community built on buried truths.

Told with raw emotion and biting wit, Josh Absher’s debut novel spans generations, weaving together the lives of townsfolk who are both haunted and shaped by loss, loyalty, faith, and vengeance. From the pulpit of a theatrical reverend to the hushed whispers of infidelity, from old wounds left by war to fresh ones cut by deceit, The Pottersfield Express is a slow-burning ride through the human condition at its most fragile and furious.

Step aboard for a gripping journey where morality blurs, past and present collide, and redemption may lie in the most unexpected of places.
